Our annual Halloween Carnival is a special day for children both young and old. The carnival gives our children the opportunity to have fun while raising money for the Holy Childhood Association.
Thank you to all the parents who came to run the activities and a big thank you to Mrs. Moffat and her team of teachers who organised the event.
Later in the Spring, there is a special mass celebrated by Archbishop Miller in support of the Holy Childhood Association. Our student representatives from grade 6 and 7 will take part at that mass and present our donation of $2000.
A second wonderful attachment to Halloween is our annual Candy Drive for the Agape Street Mission.
By giving some, or most, of our Halloween candy, we support the adult men and women who work in the downtown east-side with some of our most needy members of the community. The gift of treats is greatly appreciated by those who have little and is often used as a way to connect and begin conversations.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to this cause.
